Egyptian Halls, 84-100 Union Street, Glasgow, is an architectural masterpiece of 1870-72 by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson for the iron manufacturer James Robertson. With the upper floors unoccupied for 40 years, the building is now in a perilous state and has been shortlisted by Europa Nostra for its '7 Most Endangered' programme.
